A number of these new tactics are reported in Cisco 2009 Midyear Security Report released by the Internet network system company Cisco, early this month. They also utilizing news for attacking their main victims. Cisco's head of security researcher, Patrick Peterson, said secure Internet network is always changing because of the increasingly sophisticated threats to harm the corporate network security and then infiltrate corporate networks and steal datas. "What is striking in our latest findings is how, in addition to using their technical skills to cast a wide net and avoid detection, these criminals are also demonstrating some strong business acumen. They are collaborating with each other, preying on individuals' greatest fears and interests, and increasingly making use of legitimate Internet tools like search engines and the software-as-a-service model." he said. The Cisco® 2009 Midyear Security Report highlight the business strategies and techniques that are used most often by the perpetrators of crime to infiltrate corporate networks, compromise websites, or even to steal personal information and money.
