BlackBerry Slider 9800, The First BlackBerry Device Equipped With OS 6 To Be Launched Soon

Blackberry Slider 9800 will probably be released in Europe in the next future. From some information obtained by Techviser, the BlackBerry Slider 9800 has support for 802.11n-wifi. The BlackBerry Slider 9800 also will become the first BlackBerry device equipped with OS 6.

Besides the support for the 802.11b/g/n-wifi Slider 9800 will also handle GSM, UMTS and HSDPA. The Blackberry Slider 9800 is equipped with an Xscale processor, like other recently released Blackberry. The screen has a resolution of 480x360 pixels.

The Blackberry Slider 9800 is a new high-end BlackBerry with a slide-out keyboard. Like the newly announced of BlackBerry OS 6, the device will probably launched into the third quarter of this year. It is the first time that RIM, the manufacturer of Blackberry launches its device with a slider design, a touchscreen display with the QWERTY keyboard and equipped with OS 6 to the market.

Canadian Company, Research In Motion (RIM) has launched its newest BlackBerry SmartPhone called the Blackberry Pearl 3G, the ultra-compact smartphone packs everything in a 1.96-inch wide body, weighing a light 3.3 oz.

Aside from the smaller size than the previous BlackBerry SmartPhone products, the most notable feature from BlackBerry Pearl 9100 3G is the inclusion of 802.11n wireless support, the first one for Blackberry phones. BlackBery Pearl 3G will also come in two models: 9100 (which uses the space-saving, pseudo-QWERTY SureType keys) and 9105 (which uses a surprising T9-style keypad). Yes, Blackberry appears to be finally embracing the lower-end of the market too, with a release that looks to have more in common with Nokia's designs that the ones RIM has popularized.

Core hardware for the BlackBerry 3G handsets consist of a 624 Mhz processor, aided by 256MB of RAM. It runs Blackberry OS 5, complete with all of its familiar features, including the Blackberry Messenger, Media Sync and App World. Key details include a 360 x 400 resolution display, a 3.2 megapixel camera module, aGPS (with Blackberry Maps), 3G, WiFi, microSD expansion (up to 32GB) and a 1,150 mAh battery (rated at 4.4 hours of talk time).

RIM's BlackBerry After Sales Service Center Has Passed Government Terms

Government and the Regulator in principle can accept the completeness, mechanisms and procedures owned by RIM-Authorized Repair Facility as after-sales and service center BlackBerry Smartphone in Indonesia.

The decision came out in the plenary meeting of Telecommunication Regulation Agency (BRTI) led by Secretary General of Department of Communication and Information (Depkominfo), concurrently Task Executive of Director General of Post and Telecommunication, Basuki Yusuf Iskandar.

"It's just that, BRTI ask RIM to make a statement on the seal which shall be signed by an authorized representative of RIM's Canadian headquarters and legally responsible for RIM's operations in Indonesia," said Chief Information Center Depkominfo, Gatot S Dewa Broto.

As for the waiver covers the five cases, ie about RIM's efforts to meet the requested requirements related follow-up commitment to the BlackBerry service center. RIM's BlackBerry 8530 Aries, CDMA Smartphone With WiFi Ready For Launch

Another CDMA BlackBerry device will be thrown into the market.
