Lenovo Group Limited, the Hongkong based company makes available The Lenovo ThinkPad T410i which is a low-cost version of the standard Lenovo ThinkPad T410 14.1-inch business laptop that launched previously. A little bit different from the Lenovo ThinkPad T410 featuring the Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and an optional dedicated NVIDIA video card, the Lenovo ThinkPad T410i includes the lower-end Core i3-330M CPU and the integrated Intel GMA HD graphics only. The ThinkPad 410i comes with up to 8GB of of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive space or a 128GB solid say drive, a DVD burner, and a 4-, 6-, or 9-cell battery. Its anti-glare LED-backlit display has a resolution of 1280×800 or 1440×900 pixels, depending on customer’s choice. The ThinkPad T410i has an optional 2MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11n WiFi, optional Bluetooth, Gobi 2000 3G mobile broadband and WiMAX connections, Gigabit Ethernet, a modem, four USB ports, an eSATA port, 5-in-1 card reader, ExpressCard slot, FireWire, VGA and DisplayPort outputs, and optional fingerprint reader. With the 6-cell battery which provides up to 6.6 hours of run time, the notebook weighs 5 pounds, while with the optional 9-cell unit it weighs 5.35 pounds and has a battery life of up to 11 hours. We have no info on laptop’s weight and battery life with the default 4-cell battery. The Lenovo ThinkPad T410i runs Windows 7 OS and is available through various retailers and Lenovo.com for a basic price of $829.
