The first Android CellPhone from HTC, HTC magic successfully to demonstrate a significant sales. According to the reports, as many as 1 million units of HTC Magic have been sold. The successful sales figure is quite impressive considering the newest Android-powered Magic from HTC just went on sale in August in the U.S. market as T-Mobile's myTouch 3G.

The touch-screen handset is similar to the T-Mobile G1, but it ditches the full QWERTY keyboard for a touch-centric interface. The Magic has all the features one expects from a high-end smartphone including Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, and a full HTML browser.

The achievement made by HTC be regarded as their great success. The Magic introduced first on May and up to now already sold to 1 million units. Of course this huge number of sales became something of surprises. The reason is because Android as the operating system that is still 'green' in the smart phone segment.

As reported in Information Week, Thursday (13/8/2009), this result certainly be a good step for this Taiwan-based vendor. For, in August they will releases their upcoming series titled myTouch latest 3G in the United States. Overview myTouch 3G is similar to the T-Mobile G1, which is a smart phone based on Android and became the first in the world.

In fact, HTC has phones that also use other operating systems such as Windows Mobile. And HTC recorded sells the most smartphones with Windows Mobile in the world, however the company is placing a stronger emphasis on the Android operating system. The latest, HTC Hero, which recently also launched using Android operating system inside it.

In addition to HTC, some vendors also expressed its interest to the Android, but the company that is very serious at this time is Motorola. Says, Motorola has set up two primary products with Android.

Matter of speed, browsing speed of Android ran fast enough and comfortable. This mobile phone is supported with the 3G network and HSDPA 3.5 G, and brained by Qualcomm 528Mhz processor.
